Doing this for fun!!!!   The Commando Challenge, me and my friends were raising money for the 

Air Ambulance - actually it was fun, I enjoyed every minute of it.

I washed my hair three times when I got home, eventually got all the twigs out!

Out with the gang

I left April at the farm and rode Jess, my friends horse, as it was too far for April to go.  A group of us went out on a really long ride, 2 hours each way, to some Tea Rooms.  There is a horse paddock there so perfect for all.

Race for Life

The Race for Life Event at Westpoint Exeter recently to raise money for Cancer Research.  I went along to support my friend Sophie and her mum Jenny who is pictured here with me.....Jenny is currently having successful treatment for this awful disease and everything we can do to help her is one great bonus...so we turned out to give this 5k (that's kilometers) run a go.

And various Organisations turned out to support too...like here you see the guys from the Fire Service...

Even Sophie's dog, Hugo took part.

We raised a lot of money towards this Charity

and had great fun too.

April has been lucky enough to get another new rug!
After ripping her old rainsheet, it was time to replace it, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the rug on the shelf!

Hello sunshine!!

Poor April has felt a little under the weather recently after having a stinking cold and cough.
The cold wet wether hasn't helped, and it seems to have rubbed off on us all because we have all got the blues about this horrible weather.
But Saturday was a breakthrough as the sunshine came out at last! We almost didn't recognise that big yellow thing in the sky!
April was sooo happy that she even gave us the biggest gleaming smile for the camera!!

Role on summer!!

April is having a duvet day today- it's just too wet out in the field, but, she is quite happy with her nice big straw bed to snooze on.
We are dreaming of the summer tho, so that we can have some fun going to local shows and out hacking in some warm weather to enjoy the sunshine!

Doctor day

April has had a doctor day today
She isn't poorly or anything like that, but it was time for her 6monthly vet check up due to her cushings, and she had to have a blood sample
It's not Aprils most favourite time when the doctor turns up with the needles, but she understood that mother loves her very much and she must stand still to have it done so that doctor can test the blood to check she is having enough happy pills
She was such a good girl and had it done, and afterwards she had lots of mothers cuddles to make her feel much better

Happy New Year

Today April has had a visit from her Aunt Sophie who was very pleased to see her again. (They haven't seen each other since the summer.)
They seemed to remember each other tho and before long April managed to get Sophie mucking out her stable and bringing her hay to eat too, haha!
Then it was time for April to have some exercise in the sand school.
